This privacy statement explains which data we process when you visit our shop or order from us, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We collect no more than we need and never sell data.

The online shops strida.nl, strida.be, strida.lu and societycycle.nl are run by StudioFG, the controller of your personal data.

What data we use, and why
Your order
Name, address, email address, phone number, company name and VAT number if any, what you order and the payment status. Needed to process, deliver and invoice your order (performance of the contract). We keep invoices and the related data for 7 years, as the law requires.
Payment
You pay via Mollie or PayPal. They process your payment details; we never see your card or bank details, only whether and how you paid.
Shipping
For delivery we pass your name, address and (for tracking) your email address and phone number to the shipping platform (MyParcel or Sendcloud) and the carrier (PostNL, DPD, DHL or UPS). For shipments outside the EU, the customs details go along too.
Your account
If you create an account, we keep your login details, addresses and order history, so you can view your orders, invoices and returns. You can have your account deleted at any time; invoices are still kept for the statutory 7 years.
Returns, replacements and warranty
If you report a return or a problem, we keep what you send us about it (items, reason, photos if any) as long as needed to handle it and as part of the order.
Contact and chat
If you email us or use the chat on the site, we use your message (and your email address if you give it) to help you. The chat is our own: no other company is involved. On the website, chat messages are deleted after 90 days; in our own customer system we keep the conversation as long as needed to handle it.
Back-in-stock notification
If you ask for a notification, we keep your email address and the product until we have emailed you or you unsubscribe (consent).
Review request
After a completed order we may email you once asking for a review on Google (legitimate interest). If you would rather not, let us know.
Your visit to the website
Without your consent we only use what is needed to make the site work (see the cookies below). For security and in case of faults, our servers briefly keep technical log files, including your IP address.
With your consent for statistics we measure how the site is used:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland): which pages are visited and how visitors find us. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. Data may go to Google in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. It is deleted after at most 14 months.
- Our own visitor statistics: a random visitor number in your browser, the pages you view, your language and device, and your country, city and region. We determine the city on our own server from your IP address; we do not store or pass on the IP address itself. Data per visit is deleted after 30 days; after that we only keep daily totals, without a visitor number.
- Where you came from (for example a search engine or an ad): kept with your order if you order.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page).

During payment, Mollie or PayPal set their own cookies needed for the payment.
Who else processes your data
Only companies we need, with whom we have agreements on security and confidentiality:
- Hosting: OVHcloud (servers in the EU)
- Payment: Mollie (Netherlands), PayPal (Luxembourg)
- Shipping: MyParcel, Sendcloud, PostNL, DPD, DHL, UPS
- Sending email (order confirmations and the like): Brevo (France)
- Accounting: Silvasoft (until the end of 2026), then our own administration system on our own server in the EU
- With your consent: Google (Analytics)
We only pass data to others when the law requires it, for example to the tax authorities.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object, receive your data in a file and withdraw your consent. Email us at info@strida.lu; we reply within a month. To be sure the request comes from you, we reply to the email address of your account or order; a copy of your ID is not needed.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or with the data protection authority in your own country.
Security
The site only works over a secure connection (https). Management environments are only reachable for us, and backups are stored encrypted. If you think something is wrong with the security of your data, please email us right away.
Other
We do not make decisions about you that are taken by a computer alone. Our shop is not intended for children under 16. If this statement changes, the new date is shown at the top.
